Under supervision of NUHS clinicians, the clinics’ chiropractic, naturopathic, acupuncture and radiology interns diagnose and treat a wide range of conditions, including back, neck, knee and shoulder pain along with sciatica, hypertension, diabetes/thyroid, smoking cessation, allergies and stress.

New patients will be able to receive assessments in body composition, blood pressure, oxygenation rate, foot scans, non-fasting glucose screen, cholesterol screening and an electrocardiogram that records the electrical signals in the heart. The event will also feature health talks.

Suitable for all ages, the screenings are preventative healthcare measures that are in line with NUHS’s goal to increase community health awareness and prevention.

Sonia V. Joubert, DC, ND, MSc, CKTP, Attending Clinician at the NUHS Whole Health Center, said the event offers many health services and is meant to promote the benefits of integrative health care.

“NUHS interns and clinicians within chiropractic medicine, naturopathic medicine, and acupuncture are looking forward to providing valuable insight into a patient’s individual health,” Dr. Joubert said.

In addition to the health screenings, patients will also have a chance to learn about the various health services and supplements offered at the clinic.

Appointments are limited. Call the clinic at 630-629-9664 to book an appointment. For further inquiries, email Dr. Joubert at [email protected].
