Easter & Break!

by Apr 22, 2022

It seems that every year, Easter falls the weekend before final exams! Although I powered through and studied the majority of the weekend, I was able to enjoy an Easter brunch and service with some close friends. It was a nice break from studying, but I had to continuously remind myself that taking a break is healthy, and that I should not feel guilty for a short break from studying to rejuvenate. As everyone is wrapping up finals this week, it is so exciting to finally be on break from school!

I am planning on traveling to New Orleans with my husband, and I could not be more excited! We are going on multiple excursions, and I cannot wait to finally go to Café du Monde to try a beignet! Along with that trip during break, I am also going to St. Louis to visit some friends, and Michigan for a bachelorette party/bridal shower. My favorite part of being on school break (besides not studying of course), is being able to plan trips with my husband and friends. If you enjoy traveling, my best advice is to plan a small trip, or an international trip during as many school breaks as possible! One day soon, we will not have school breaks anymore, and it will be harder to find time to travel and explore the world.

I wish everyone the best of luck on final exams, and I hope everyone has an amazing school break with friends and family!
