National University of Health Sciences recently announced the recipients of 17 institutional scholarships for students pursuing doctorate degrees.

The scholarships awarded to current students at the Illinois campus and Florida site ranged from $1,065 to $3,750. Honorees were selected based on criteria specific to each scholarship, which may include GPA, essay requirements and letters of recommendation.

The scholarships are funded by a variety of memorial, corporate and alumni donations. More information about summer trimester scholarship applications will be emailed to students in the coming weeks.

“Generous donations from our corporate sponsors and alumni makes it possible to provide these scholarships,” said Marc Yambao, NUHS director of financial aid. Donations can be made at www.nuhs.edu.
