What is my role?
•Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to evaluate medical history, current health status, and lifestyle factors.
•Develop personalized treatment plans incorporating natural therapies, dietary recommendations, nutritional supplements, herbal remedies, and other holistic modalities.
•Educate patients on the principles of naturopathic medicine, emphasizing preventative care and healthy living habits.
•Coordinate patient care with primary care physicians and specialists to maintain consistent treatment plans, engaging with patients regularly to ensure compliance and provide support.
•Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal health outcomes.
•Serve as an advisor on herb-drug interactions and contribute to the development of integrative health initiatives.
•Create informative newsletters and online content and provide personalized recommendations for integrative patient care.
Qualifications:
•Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine (ND) degree from an accredited institution.
•1-2 years of experience in an integrative care setting preferred.
•Postgraduate certification in Regenerative Medicine or Aesthetic Medicine preferred.
•Experience with naturopathic approaches for mental health is advantageous.
•Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

•For all providers, early specialization in one specialty significantly decreases the likelihood of changing to another specialty or primary care.

What will my onboarding and training look like?
•Intensive training with a focus on knowledge and skill development
•Initial shadowing of senior providers, medical director
•Graded transition to independent practice with continuous close support
•Free CME to maintain and advance skills.
Am I expected to complete charting from home?
No
•Aayu Clinics aims to help providers achieve productivity levels that allow them to see a smaller number of more complex patients, potentially matching the reimbursement of practices where providers see a much larger volume.
•The goal is to complete all work, including charting, within the scheduled shift without taking work home.
•We use Artificial Intelligence for documentation, and composing patient discharge instructions, and 90% of our prescriptions are templated.
•The Medical Assistants play a large role in taking responsibilities off providers.
