National University of Health Sciences’ faculty member Jennifer Gantzer, DC, MS, DACBN, FACN, was recently part of a discussion on the state of the chiropractic profession as part of an episode of Chiropractical, a National Chiropractic Mutual Insurance Company (NCMIC) podcast. The host talked with Dr. Gantzer and 19 other leaders within the chiropractic profession at The National, one of the largest chiropractic events organized by the Florida Chiropractic Association

During the episode titled, “View From the Top: Conversations from the FCA National,” the leaders discussed the opportunities and challenges doctors and students face within the industry, the strategic direction of the profession, opportunities for women in health care and becoming the doctor of choice in a local area.

Dr. Gantzer talked about how graduates today have the option of going into many different specialties.

“Once we have that chiropractic degree, we can go into pediatrics, sports rehab, clinical nutrition, internist, etc. We can specialize in musculoskeletal alone or integrate it into a nutrition program. It really does give us the choice to go any route that we want to follow,” she said.
