Clinic Supply Clerk (Part-time)

Hours:  1:00 PM – 7:15PM M-F  (End time may vary)   Alternating Saturdays 7:15 AM – 2:00PM

Job Summary

The Clinic Supply Clerk is a part of the University Clinic Operations team. The Supply Clerk is responsible for dispensing and monitoring all items necessary for patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Treat all medical records in a secure, confidential manner with the understanding of privacy policy and HIPAA law
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of clinic policy and procedures
  • Distribute supplies necessary for patient care
  • Monitor the return and condition of all patient care items
  • Submit requests for restocking purchases
  • Keep lab supplies filled and orderly
  • Place and receive orders for lab supplies
  • Scan clinical and/or administrative documentation into EHR
  • Sort and distribute mail
  • Assist with front desk functions as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required

  • Must have a positive attitude and take initiative
  • Ability to quickly learn new computer systems and office processes
  • High School diploma or equivalent
