We are a busy Chiropractic office located in Bloomingdale, IL, who is looking to hire a Chiropractic Assistant/Massage Therapist. Experience doing soft tissue/massage work on patients is required. Chiropractic students, massage therapy students, and physical therapy students are welcome to apply. This person will be mainly working in the back end of our office, alongside the Doctor.
1. Monday’s, Wednesday’s and Friday’s: 1:30pm-8pm/8:30pm
2. Saturdays: 9am-1:30pm as needed.
3. There is the future possibility of some Thursday afternoons as needed, possibly from 3pm-8pm/8:30pm.
4. For the Massage Therapists: there is the possibility of actual massage therapy hours on Thursday’s in the PM (3pm-8pm) and Saturday’s: 9am-1:30pm. These hours would be reimbursed on a per massage basis.
We are a family oriented clinic who pride ourselves on the individuality of our care plans. This position is ideal for someone who is flexible in terms of availability especially on short notice.
Our ideal candidate will assist in all aspects of practice which include, but are not limited to the following duties:
-light manual therapy/soft tissue work on patients
-answering phones
-scheduling patients
-processing patient payments
-application of E-STIM
-application of ice or heat
-assisting with marketing activities
– overseeing and performing physical therapy exercises
– patient education
– office management/front desk
– general office cleanup
Job Type: Part-time/Full time
Assistant Pay: $14-$16 per hour plus commission.
Spanish language skills are preferred.
