Assistant Professor, Clinical Practice
Dr. Anna Jurik is a chiropractic physician, registered and licensed dietitian and nutritionist. She earned a BS in exercise physiology from the University of Illinois at Chicago, a BS in dietetics from the University of Kentucky and received her doctor of chiropractic degree from National University of Health Sciences in 2005. She later earned a master of science degree in advanced clinical practice from NUHS in 2011. Dr. Jurik also holds various certifications and has had training in numerous fields, including Graston deep tissue technique, Kinesio Taping, acupuncture, fitness, rehabilitation, and physical medicine.
Currently, Dr. Jurik works for National University of Health Sciences as both a part-time lecturer in nutrition and biochemistry as well as a clinical dietitian/nutritionist with the Whole Health Center - Lombard. She also practices in a private practice off-campus.
Dr. Jurik's overall philosophy is to treat the whole person and integrate with integrate with other health care providers as needed, which enables her patients to receive the best care possible.
