In this video, NUHS student Alison Egeland explains why naturopathic medicine is so effective and why it will continue to grow in the future. Alison is currently an ND intern in National University’s on-campus integrative medical clinic.

Alison wanted to be a physician in undergraduate school. When she and members of her family experienced the benefits of natural and alternative care first hand, she looked into a career as a naturopathic physician. Listen to Allison explain why she feels NUHS is giving her great preparation for her future:

“Most of the faculty here at NUHS…are doctors, and many of them also have
their own practices and see patients. So, you’re getting a world of experience….”
