A Word from President Joseph Stiefel

Dear Visitor,

As the university’s president, I want to share my enthusiasm about why National University of Health Sciences is so unique. It’s more than our commitment to integrative medicine, our focus on evidence-based health care, and our history of maintaining high academic standards and a rigorous curriculum.

I’m enthusiastic about National University of Health Sciences because we are redefining what both physicians and patients should expect from today’s health care marketplace. We prepare our students for a new emerging health care landscape – one where different specialties work together by sharing knowledge, skills, and research for better patient outcomes. One where natural and conservative care is combined with the best of modern diagnostic and treatment options for better results at a lower cost.

Our graduates often go on to become leaders within their professions. The reason they do is because we train them to be leaders. We train them to be lifelong learners, and give them a broad scope of knowledge and skills. This way, they’ll be ready to apply new research, adapt to new health care delivery systems, and succeed no matter their career’s direction.

Whether you study at our Florida or Illinois location, or whether you’re an undergraduate student, a professional degree student, or seeking excellence in postgraduate and continuing education, National University of Health Sciences offers you uncompromising science-based learning.

We’re proud of what we do, and equally proud of our students and graduates. I hope you’ll join us as we define the future of integrated health care.

Sincerely,

Joseph P.D. Stiefel, MS, EdD, DC
