During break, I was able to go to New Orleans with my husband, for some much needed rest and relaxation. We went to Café Du Monde, and were able to taste the delicious famous beignets. We also went on a swamp tour and saw many alligators, and learned some history on a plantation tour.

Last, we went on an evening jazz cruise, because you cannot visit New Orleans without listening to jazz! I was also able to visit some friends in St. Louis during break, and went to a few local wineries. It was a great break full of catching up with friends and relaxation. Now that classes are in full swing again, it is time to refocus and dedicate the majority of my time to learning.

My favorite part of being in Phase II of the program are the clinical classes. It is exciting to see the information that we have learned put into actual patient encounters. I have to do six hours of clinical observation this trimester, and I cannot wait to meet the clinicians, and hopefully have some interesting patient encounters. I look forward to discussing interesting chiropractic topics with you this trimester from my diverse classes. I hope everyone has a great trimester, and is able to enjoy studying outside in the beautiful warm weather!
