National University started a new craze on campus called Food Truck Fridays. The food trucks were so popular in September, NUHS food truck students in linethe university decided to book more for October. Our Food Truck Fridays were even featured in two local news stories, one in The Lombardian and another on mysuburbanlife.com.

The October trucks will now be scheduled every other Friday, and will include new vendors along with one repeat of a campus favorite.

October Food Trucks will include:

October 3rd (11am – 1pm) – Grill Chasers
Smoky, flame-grilled chicken presented as wings, wraps and skewers with lots of tasty sides and sauces.

October 17th (11am – 1pm) – Piko’s
Scrumptious meats or tofu in a taco, bao, slider or bowl with sides like edamame and mocha ice cream.

October 31 (11:30am – 1:30pm) – Toasty Cheese
Encore performance of gourmet grilled cheese, seasoned fries and salads. One of our new faves!

Each food truck offers vegetarian options as well as gluten-free options (note: for those sensitive to gluten, food is prepared in equipment that is also used to prepare items containing gluten).

Share your photos with us on Facebook or Twitter using #foodtruckfridays!

Students, faculty and staff are invited to come out and enjoy great food, rain or shine!

“Food Truck Fridays” have proven to be popular, so we’ll explore bringing in even more trucks, and will keep you informed!
