As life grows increasingly complex and often more stressful, how can we as physicians help patients reach and maintain optimal health? What tools can we offer our patients that empower them to help manage their own health and wellness given today’s unique challenges? At National University’s 2012 Homecoming, you can enjoy the following two sessions based on natural foundations for healthy living:

James Bogash
Lifestyle Modification, Friday, 6/22, 8:00-9:30 am

James Bogash, DC,  graduated summa cum laude from National in 1998 and has been the publisher of Dr. Bogash’s Rantings for 12 years, dedicated to educating the public on healthier lifestyles. In this session, he offers simple lifestyle changes the chiropractic physician can use to guide their patients on their path to avoiding chronic disease and achieving healthy aging.

Joseph Olejak
Whole Food Nutrition Purification, Friday, 6/22, 10:15-11:45 am

With 23 years of applied clinical nutrition experience. Joseph Olejak, DC, is co-author of Synergistic Therapeutics: Herbs and Whole Food Nutrition for 50 Common Ailments and writes a monthly newsletter on nutrition called The Vitality Times. Dr. Olejak explains that big changes in our environment and lifestyles means chiropractors are dealing with patients who have very different bodies today compared to a few decades ago. The challenge is identifying sources of chemical stress in patients and managing this for best clinical results.
