National University faculty member and sports medicine expert, Thomas J. Solecki, DC, DACBSP, DACRB, ICSSD, was doctor thomas soleckirecently appointed to two educational committees with broad outreach to the nation’s athletic community.

First, Dr. Solecki has been invited by the Foundation for Chiropractic Progress to serve on its “Athletic TIPS” (toward injury prevention in sports), a multi-disciplinary professional advisory board for a new nationwide education program. The group will provide coaches, trainers, educators and parents with educational materials on preventing sports injuries and maintaining optimal health.

Additionally, Dr. Solecki is one of three DCs invited to serve on the educational committee for the “Theraband Academy,” providing education on the safe and proper use of resistance training equipment, as well as sports injury rehabilitation and prevention.

Dr. Solecki has a long list of diplomates, certifications and credentials in a wide range of sports medicine and physical rehabilitation modalities. He has also been instrumental in bringing sports medicine treatment and research opportunities to NUHS students.
