On Monday, June 13th, Monica Smith, DC, PhD, will be on campus to speak on the subject of “The Role of Chiropractic Physicians in Improving Access to Primary Care for Underserved Populations.” The lecture will be held at at 12 noon CDST in SC1 and the lecture will also be interactive for Florida faculty, staff and students.

Dr. Smith received her DC from Logan College and her PhD in Health Services Research from the St. Louis University School of Public Health in St. Louis Missouri, following which she was a Research Fellow at the University of California San Francisco, Institute for Health Policy Studies.

Dr. Smith has worked with various agencies and in different capacities on the subject of “access to health care,” and is well versed in health care policy both for the general public as well as with the Department of Veteran’s Affairs. Do not miss this unique opportunity to hear an expert from the chiropractic profession who offers a broad education and perspective on health care delivery.
