Today during complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) Day, students, faculty and staff were able to explore various vendor services and products at the Illinois campus.

The event, organized by the Student American Chiropractic Association (SACA), exposes students in all NUHS programs to the products and services they may find useful when in practice.CAM day vendors and showcase

A total of 12 vendors set up tables in the Student Center Gym from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. offering information on their products and services along with free samples and giveaways.

Nearly $4,000 in vendor donations will be used to help NUHS students attend the American Chiropractic Association’s National Chiropractic Leadership Conference. Held in Washington D.C., students also spend time advocating for the chiropractic profession on Capitol Hill.

“Not only will this money sponsor more Illinois students to attend, but a percentage of it also goes to the Florida students to help them to attend,” said Amanda Leonard, a DC student and SACA club member.

CAM Day sponsors include:

  • Apex Energetics
  • Core Products International
  • NCMIC
  • Pillow of Health
  • Illinois Chiropractic Society
  • China Gel
  • Rocktape
  • Integrative Therapeutics
  • DaVinci Labs
  • Protocol (NOW)
  • Standard Process
  • Theralase

Donations were also received from Thuli Tables, Pillow of Health, Chiropractic Economics, Books of Discovery, Dynamic Disc Designs Corporation, Chiropractic Pregnancy Pillows, Biofreeze (Performance Health).
