The event, organized by the Student American Chiropractic Association (SACA), exposes students in all NUHS programs to the products and services they may find useful when in practice.
A total of 12 vendors set up tables in the Student Center Gym from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. offering information on their products and services along with free samples and giveaways.
Nearly $4,000 in vendor donations will be used to help NUHS students attend the American Chiropractic Association’s National Chiropractic Leadership Conference. Held in Washington D.C., students also spend time advocating for the chiropractic profession on Capitol Hill.
“Not only will this money sponsor more Illinois students to attend, but a percentage of it also goes to the Florida students to help them to attend,” said Amanda Leonard, a DC student and SACA club member.
