National University launched the first digital version of its “Alumnus” publication on April 24th, 2015. The new digital format is alumnus covernot only environmentally friendly, it allows the alumni news magazine a wealth of expanded content and web-friendly features, including:

  • Ability to read on desktop, laptop, tablet or mobile device, with user-friendly features to expand to full-screen, zoom in or out, and more
  • More news and stories with links to additional information
  • Multi-media capability, including video stories that can be viewed directly in the magazine.
  • Easy to share content via email or social media sites

“Just as most of our offices are now paperless, so too has NUHS made the move to reduce both waste and cost, and make the Alumnus available online,” says Alumni Association Chair, Dr. John DeMatte.

NUHS President Joseph Stiefel says, “We would like to hear your ideas about what you would like to see and hear in our Alumnus publication. It’s an exciting change that we have made with this electronic format, and we want the entire university community to play a part in its success.”

The digital Alumnus will be published each Spring and Fall, and will compliment one annual printed magazine from the university.

If you are one of our NUHS alumni and did not receive the inaugural issue of National University’s digital Alumnus, please call the Office of Alumni and Development at 630-889-6702, or email [email protected] and provide your updated email address. We will be sure you are added to the free subscription list. In the meantime, you can enjoy reading our first issue here.
