College of Professional Studies

The College of Professional Studies welcomed David W. Tretter, M.P.A., the current president of the Federation of Independent Illinois College and Universities as its honored commencement speaker. As the Federation president, Mr. Tretter is responsible for coordinating the state and federal public policy advocacy efforts of 57 Illinois private, non-profit, independent institutions of higher education. In addition, he serves as the key liaison to the Illinois General Assembly, both K-12 and higher education agencies, and the media.
