NUHS Staff Picks

Book CoverMom's Cancer by Brian Fies is a great introduction to the power of graphic novels to effectively explore the complex medical issues that most people will face. This acquisition was inspired by the Doctor-Patient Relations presentation (March 10, 2015) on graphic medicine by Comic Nurse, MK Czerwiec.
