Biomedical Science Student – Crystal Stewart

Crystal Stewart trained as a combat medic in the military after high school, and knew she wanted a career in health care. Once she finished her general education at a community college in Ohio, she chose to attend NUHS’ bachelor’s degree completion program in biomedical sciences.

Because Crystal is an eligible veteran, the Yellow Ribbon Program at NUHS covers any remaining tuition not already paid for under the Post 911 GI Bill.

Once she graduates with her BS in Biomedical Sciences from National University, Crystal hopes to go on to medical school and earn an MD.

“One of the benefits here in the bachelor’s program is you can tailor it to fit your needs.
If you want to focus more towards biology, you can. If you want to focus more toward
the physical sciences, you can.”
