DC Clinician for Assessment
Part-time 20 hours per week
Job Summary
The role of the DC Attending Clinician for Assessment is to support the DC Attending Full-time Clinician(s) primarily in the role of assessing the competence of the students assigned to the DC Attending Clinician(s) daily.
Responsibilities
Perform assessments (quantitative and qualitative) of students in clinic, daily.
Be well versed in the NUHS Clinical Assessment Plan.
Develop a strict schedule of assessments for students and ensure that it is adhered to.
Maintain documentation of intern activities related to attendance, assignments, quantitative/qualitative assessments, weekly reports and final intern reports.
Maintain and ensure accuracy of information listed on CygNet for student grades.
Qualifications
Required:
- Maintain confidentiality of all NUHS clinic-related matters and documents.
- Excellent people and organizational skills.
- Must be able to multi-task and have strong attention to detail.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Doctor of Chiropractic Degree with a Florida DC license.
Preferred:
- A graduate who performed well in the clinic mini-cex.
- Demonstrated competency in working with relational databases and/or student information systems.
- Possess a Florida DC license with acupuncture certification
Salary: $30.00/hr
