    • Jewish immigrants to the United States
    • Received assistance from HIAS Chicago during immigration process between Jan. 1, 2001 to present
    • Is an undergraduate or graduate student in a degree-seeking program at an accredited institution

Hispanic Scholarship Program

    • Be of Hispanic heritage

    • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale

Jewish Vocational Service Scholarship

  • Deadline: February 15
  • Award: $1,000 or more
  • Application: Available Online
  • Criteria:
    • Must be Jewish
    • Either born/raised in Cook County, Chicago metro area, or Northwest Indiana; or have one continuous year of full-time employment in Cook County or Chicago metropolitan area
    • Intend to remain in the Chicago metropolitan area after completing school
    • Entering an accredited professional graduate education program on a full-time basis
    • Must be available for a personal interview at Jewish Vocational Service
    • Pursuing a career in a helping profession

Korean American Scholarship Foundation

  • Deadline: varies by state - for Illinois it is July 16
  • Award: varies depending on scholarship

  • Criteria:
    • Students with a Korean heritage studying in the US regardless of citizenship status (including Korean Nationals)
    • Minimum GPA to apply is 3.0
    • Is an undergraduate or graduate student in a degree-seeking program at an accredited institution
    • Must have financial need and can demonstrate academic excellence

National Italian American Foundation Scholarship

  • Deadline: Early March
  • Award: $2,000 - $3,000

    • At least one ancestor who immigrated from Italy

Polish Women's Civic Club
