Description
Position: Part-time Associate Acupuncturist with opportunity to grow
Schedule: Approximately 3–4 shifts per week, generally 4–6 hours per shift. Some evening and/ or weekend availability is preferred.
Compensation: Competitive production-based compensation with strong earning potential.
About the practice:
Alleviate Acupuncture & Wellness Clinic is an established multidisciplinary wellness clinic serving Metro Detroit. We maintain a high-volume acupuncture practice with both private and community-style treatment.
The associate will:
Provide individualized acupuncture treatments
Perform TCM assessment and diagnosis
Develop appropriate treatment plans
Maintain timely, professional clinical documentation
Educate patients regarding acupuncture and Chinese medicine
Work collaboratively with our clinical and administrative team
Help care for both established Alleviate patients and new patients as the associate’s schedule grows
Participate in a team culture where everyone contributes to the functioning of the clinic
We are looking for someone who is:
Graduate of an accredited acupuncture/Chinese medicine program
NCCAOM certified or board-eligible
Eligible for Michigan acupuncture licensure
Clinically curious and eager to continue learning
Warm, compassionate and comfortable communicating with patients
Dependable and professional
Comfortable working in a busy clinical environment
Interested in becoming an excellent clinician—not simply renting a room and operating independently
A genuine team player who understands that in a small healthcare practice, no reasonable task is beneath any member of the team
New graduates are absolutely encouraged to apply. I am willing to provide significant clinical mentorship to the right practitioner.
I have practiced in healthcare for more than 26 years and hold a Doctorate in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine. One of my priorities in hiring is finding someone who wants the opportunity to learn, see a substantial variety of patients, and develop into a confident independent clinician.
Candidates who would need to relocate to Michigan are welcome to contact me to discussthe opportunity.
Interested candidates may send a résumé/CV and a brief introduction to [email protected].
