Iowa City – Acupuncturist

Acupuncture of Iowa, founded in 1992 by Laura Christensen, M.A., M.Ac., L.Ac., is seeking a licensed acupuncturist to join our Iowa City practice as a clinical associate. We are an established clinic with four treatment rooms, an onsite herbal apothecary, and front desk support.

The associate will provide acupuncture and related therapies to patients assigned by the clinic director, keep timely clinical notes in Jane App, and take part in regular case review. The position includes ongoing mentorship and clinical training in approaches such as Japanese and Korean acupuncture, electroacupuncture, microcurrent, and Chinese herbal medicine.

Applicants must hold, or be eligible for, an Iowa acupuncture license, including current NCCAOM/NAHMB certification. Recent graduates and candidates with a connection to Iowa or Iowa City are welcome to apply. We are looking for someone who is collaborative, eager to learn, and committed to excellent patient care.

Compensation is based on a percentage of collections, with a pathway to base salary as the associate’s caseload grows.
