Looking to transfer to National University of Health Sciences? You must meet the current admission requirements and be approved by the Committee on Admissions.

Transferring to National University of Health Sciences

Various chiropractic, naturopathic and professional colleges do not have the same curriculum. Transfer students should expect to lose some credits earned at other institutions. However, NUHS will award advanced standing from institutions accredited by specialty professional health care accrediting commissions. These commissions can include the Council on Naturopathic Medical Education or the Commission on Accreditation of the Council on Chiropractic Education. We may also award credits from another accredited professional college. These credits must be equal to NUHS’s curriculum.

To qualify for advanced standing, your courses must be equal in content and quality to those at National University of Health Sciences. You must also complete these courses with grades of C or higher (2.0 on a 4.0 scale). Additional regulations apply to transfer students; these regulations can be found in the NUHS Bulletin.
