Learn standard testing procedures including pre-participation physicals, cardiorespiratory fitness assessment, muscle strength evaluation and body composition analysis. You’ll develop expertise in creating tailored exercise prescriptions for athletes of all ages, special populations and specific health conditions while ensuring optimal safety and performance outcomes.

 

Nutrition for Human Performance 

Fuel peak athletic performance through the science of sports nutrition. Dive deep into how nutrients drive energy production, muscle metabolism and immune function while mastering nutritional assessment techniques for optimal performance. You’ll learn to address body composition, weight management and eating disorders in athletes while evaluating the risks, benefits and legality of performance-enhancing supplements and drugs.

 

Sports Injuries & Medical Conditions

Advance your sports medicine expertise with comprehensive injury management skills. Building on foundational knowledge, you’ll study injuries and medical conditions specific to different sports while mastering assessment techniques, rehabilitation protocols, manual therapy and taping methods. This course includes specialized training in concussion evaluation and management, equipping you with the critical skills to handle complex sports-related medical conditions with confidence and precision.
