New opportunities await you in New Orleans!
A thriving acupuncture practice that has served the New Orleans community for 7 years is seeking a self-driven, emotionally intelligent, and dependable acupuncturist to supplement 2 current practitioner’s part-time schedules. Our centrally-located clinic includes 2 spacious, light-filled treatment rooms with a large lobby featuring a Chinese herbal pharmacy, and a 3rd room where a massage therapist currently practices.
We are general practitioners and treat anything that walks through the door, however we are open to hiring a new practitioner with specialties and niche interests! Full days or half days of work could be accommodated. This position would be hired as an independent contractor and paid a percentage of treatment fees based on experience with room to grow.
This job is a good fit for you if you are:
-A trustworthy, independent, self-starter who prides themselves on being a good listener and is eager to foster professional, thoughtful relationships with your patients
-Comfortable running 2 rooms, however treating 1 patient an hour is also an option
-Open to holding some weekend hours: currently we are closed Sundays and every other Saturday and are looking for this position to fill some of those gaps. These days have the potential to build your list of regulars VERY quickly.
-A recent graduate or a practitioner with a few years of experience (preferred)
-An adventurous spirit that can ‘roll with the punches’ in a unique city like New Orleans
Requirements:
-You must have your own professional liability/ malpractice insurance, renewed yearly
-You will be expected to keep detailed records of the treatments you perform in a shared EMR system (JaneApp).
-Licensed in Louisiana by our medical board
