Naturopathic Medicine Student – Takiyah Smith

Takiyah started the first semester of an MD program but decided it didn’t fit her views on health care. She was looking for an alternative to the allopathic medical model when she discovered naturopathic medicine. After choosing National University’s ND program, Takiyah discovered that the curriculum was not only phenomenal but that in many ways it was more intensive than what she’d experienced in her MD program.
