Fraser Smith, ND, Assistant Dean, Naturopathic Medicine, was among the opening day Plenary speakers at the 6th International Congress on Natural Medicine (ICNM) in London, UK, July 5. His presentation was titled, "The use of cardiac inflammatory bio-markers and advanced lipid testing: A powerful tool for analyzing risk, near term events and for guiding therapy."

"The ICNM was excellent in spirit and content," Dr. Smith reported. "I found my presentation based on our work at NUHS very well received. I recommend this annual event to any ND who wants to broaden their horizons and connect with colleagues from around the world."

ICNM President Anne Marie Narboni, ND, told Dr. Smith, "It was great to hear about the latest developments and your in-depth knowledge in a way that delegates could easily apply in their daily practice. We know that we are much better informed than before, and we are now even more confident about analyzing and guiding therapy."

More than 60 countries were represented at the annual conference, with the theme Global Patient Care - Restoring Health Naturally. The goal of the conference is to provide an environment where attendees are able to learn new ways to enhance their practices and apply that knowledge immediately. The conference has gained global recognition as the world's top congress for influential, inspiring and aspiring health care experts committed to promoting and providing natural healthcare.
