NUHS Students Volunteer at Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure

Students from National University had a busy day September 23rd at the Susan G. Komen "Race for the Cure" at Lombard's Yorktown Center.

The NUHS crew served as "I am the Cure" rovers, engaging race participants and spectators in simple questions about breast cancer prevention and early risk detection. They had lots of pens to giveaway as prizes, and had a great time. The NUHS Public Health Club coordinated the volunteer effort.
