DuPage Health and Physical Therapy is seeking an 8th, 9th, or 10th trimester chiropractic student to join our office as an intern.
We are located in Naperville, just south of Edward Hospital. We have served the community for over 40 years and offer chiropractic care, acupuncture, a weight loss protocol, and physical rehabilitation.
As an intern in our office you will have exposure a diverse patient population and a variety of conditions. Doctors in our office routinely order and interpret labs, x-rays, and MRIs. DuPage Health and Physical Therapy also has a broad physician referral network and regularly practices integrative care. As an intern, you will have guided experience with this and other aspects of patient management. We have office hours available Monday through Saturday. We recognize that students have varying availability and we are willing to work with your schedule.
Interns in our office can expect to:
- Assist with taking patient histories
- Assist patients with therapeutic exercise
- Learn electronic medical record software (ChiroTouch)
- Have exposure to insurance billing and coding
- Interact with patients via phone, text, and email
Hourly rates increase with experience in NUHS clinic:
Trimester 8: $16.00 per hour
Trimester 9: $18.00 per hour
Trimester 10: $20.00 per hour
