Recent graduate or practicing Chiropractor with an entrepreneurial spirit needed in Murphy, NC. Leave the big city stress behind — make a difference in your community and have a lasting impact on patients’ lives. Relish life in a beautiful mountain town at the foothills of the Smoky Mountains.
The location
Nestled in the southwest corner of North Carolina, experience the beautiful area known as the Blue Ridge Mountains. Hiking, biking, rafting, and lake adventures await. Boutique shopping, casual and fine dining,
and craft breweries are plentiful. When you are ready for a trip to the big city, Murphy is only two hours from Asheville, Knoxville, Chattanooga, and Atlanta.
The practice
I have a thriving 24-year-old practice with a near-constant waiting list of new and existing patients. My office is centrally located in a stand-alone building, which I remodeled from a brick home in 2008. We have a private parking lot, large fenced backyard, five treatment rooms, two bathrooms, spacious lobby and full kitchen – fantastic for healthy lunches and meal prep! The office is near local schools; my children have grown up here, being conveniently dropped off by the school bus after school.
Chiropractors enjoy a very favorable reputation in Murphy. We have many local patients and a growing new patient pool from retirees moving to the area. No matter what type of practice you would like to create, there is a wealth of opportunity for the right person. I have many systems in place (EHR, HIPAA, OIG, OSHA, etc.) and am happy to share any information about starting and doing business in North Carolina.
Being in a small town has allowed me to forge personable and encouraging relationships with patients. My goal is to create an environment that exudes the attributes of my Christian faith. I perform acupuncture, am advanced certified in Activator Methods, and use Diversified adjusting and Cox FD.
The position
As my schedule is very full, I turn new patients away to other local chiropractors almost daily. Ideally, I would prefer to refer them to someone sharing office space with me – that could be you! An independent contractor arrangement might work best. After a couple of years, I would hopefully transition the office to this person if both parties were still interested. I have been incredibly blessed to establish my practice and serve the Murphy community for 24 years, and I look forward to soon enjoying a slower pace.
