The American Back Center is a whole-health clinic in the Chicago loop. While the name implies a focus on the spine, our office actually looks at the whole person in its approach to healthcare. As such, we offer Functional Medicine (IFM credentialled Chiropractor), licensed massage therapy, Spinal Decompression via VaxD technology, McKenzie technique (MDT credentialled Chiropractor), classic Chiropractic approaches, and you – our Acupuncturist! As a multidisciplinary setting, we coordinate on patient care – referring patients to the appropriate providers within the group – and in doing so achieve better results than one therapy alone.
We are currently looking for a new Acupuncturist. Our former provider was with us for years and she left with a move out of State. She was credentialled under our Group information at both BCBS and the Veteran’s Administration, and had many new patient referrals through those channels. We are looking for someone who wants to work as an independent contractor or rent space (there is some flexibility here); we are not looking for a salaried employee. The office has two rooms that are dedicated for a combination of acupuncture and massage, always on separate days. Therefore, acupuncture can be offered one, two or three days a week based on your preference/availability, working together with the massage schedule.
