Practitioner Bio

With over 10 years of clinical experience Jason has performed over 20,000 acupuncture treatments. He has performed residencies at the Nanjing TCM University hospital system and the Acupuncture Relief Project in rural Nepal. He has furthered his training by mastering the Tan balance method, trigger point orthopedic techniques, and Jimmy Chang’s pulse diagnosis system to treat a myriad of diseases.

Combining all of these experiences Garuda Health was opened to deliver the best of Chinese Medicine to be more than a spa service and actually solve patient’s complex medical issues. Having worked in American hospital systems prior to private practice he knows the ins and outs of biomedical treatments and how to explain TCM to the western educated patient. Especially, where biomedicine and other integrative practitioners have failed custom herbal formulas and appropriate acupuncture treatment plans succeed.

Today, Jason’s passion for healing and his dedication to providing the highest quality of care shine through in the compassionate and holistic approach, where Chinese Medicine’s rich tradition meets modern healthcare.

About Us: We are one of Michigan’s premier exclusively Chinese medicine clinic, dedicated to revolutionizing integrative healthcare. Our goal is to nurture and develop TCM practitioners who are not only experts in their field but also champions of alternative medicine. We are excited to welcome a new Acupuncturist to our team as we continue our journey of growth and excellence.

Role and Responsibilities: As a valued member of our team, you will:
• Administer acupuncture and auricular therapy to patients using advanced techniques.
• Maintain accurate patient records in our EMR system.
• Ensure the comfort and ambiance of treatment rooms between patient sessions.
• Facilitate clear communication between patients and the lead practitioner to address individual needs.
• Effectively explain treatment plans to patients, ensuring they are informed and comfortable.
• Collaborate with fellow practitioners, reviewing provider notes to create synergistic treatment approaches.
• Cultivate strong patient relationships through excellent rapport and care.

Qualifications:
• Licensed Acupuncturist (L. Ac.) with necessary insurances.
• Has a deep commitment to Chinese Medicine.
• Exceptional communication skills to connect with patients and fellow practitioners.
• Detail-oriented mindset focused on enhancing patient experiences.
• Embracing diversity and adapting to a wide range of patient demographics.
Compensation:
• Base Pay of $20.00 to $25.00 per hour plus commission (approximately $75,000 to $150,000 per year).
