Autumn Hildreth - Massage Therapy
Autumn Hildreth (NUHS '17) started the massage therapy program
at National University to supplement a future career as a doula, a
trained specialist who assists women during the birth process.
In addition to offering pain relief, massage therapy has a
number of medical benefits for pregnant women. The medical aspect
of the massage therapy program, including classes in physiology and
anatomy helped cement Hildreth's decision to attend NUHS. As a
student, she also discovered a number of other career options
including working as part of a team of midwives or for a
chiropractor specializing in pregnancy.
