Student Success Coordinator

Job Summary

The Student Success Coordinator is the primary contact for all students requesting career services support. The Coordinator will provide current career resources and tools to students of all programs at the University.  

The Coordinator will work closely with the Alumni & Development Coordinator and the Student Services Coordinator to ensure students receive support throughout their journey at NUHS. This integral role fosters positive interactions with students that provides a gateway to positive interactions with alumni.

Responsibilities 

  • Oversee career service opportunities and resources
  • Event planning experience
  • Oversee student club events
  • Assist with all student events (orientation, graduation, etc)
  • Attend Student Council meetings
  • Assist with the alumni ambassador program
  • Assist with identifying successful alumni to connect with current students
  • Assist with fundraising projects
  • Assist with alumni events (travel may be required)
  • Maintaining confidentiality on all matters
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Prior work experience in a similar office environment preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong spelling, grammar and editing skills.
  • Positive attitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize projects and attention to detail.
  • Strong event planning experience
  • Knowledge of fundraising
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Respect for University confidentiality
