Sridharan Manavalan, MS (India)

Sridharan ManavalanSridharan Manavalan is an anatomist who specializes in all branches of  anatomy namely gross anatomy, histology, embryology and neuroanatomy. He has a bachelor of science in zoology and master of science in human anatomy from the University of Madras, India. He is currently pursuing his PhD in neuroendocrinology at the University of Pecs Medical School, Hungary. 

Professor Manavalan has taught all the sub-specialties of anatomy at medical schools in more than half a dozen countries including India, United Kingdom, Russia, Malaysia, Libya, Dominica and the United States. His research interests in neuroscience include neuroendocrinology, diabetic retinopathy, ischemic retinal degeneration and its repair.

Professor Manavalan has been with the NUHS Florida site since its inception in fall of 2009.
