Michelle Jourdan, DC

Dr. Michelle Jourdan is a full-time faculty member of the Doctor
of Chiropractic degree program at National University's Florida
location.
Dr. Jourdan is the youngest of 12 children and grew up in
suburban Detroit. She attended the University of Michigan,
where she received a bachelor's degree in environmental science
with chemistry minor in 1990. She worked as an environmental
chemist in the Chicago area for 10 years, performing asbestos air
sampling analysis and environmental project management and ground
water sampling for underground storage tank removal.
Dr. Jourdan earned a second bachelor's degree in human biology
as well as her doctor of chiropractic degree from National College
of Chiropractic (now National University of Health Sciences) in
1999.
In 2001, she moved to Florida and began her career as a
chiropractic physician and personal growth coach. She managed
multiple chiropractic facilities in Miami-Dade counties, as an
independent contractor. She began her own private practice in 2003
and eventually opened Jourdan Chiropractic Center in 2008.
Dr. Jourdan has practiced as a primary care physician for
families, specializing in pregnancy and hormone balancing. In
addition, she created a business called "Blu Fut International
Consulting, LLC" with a premise to influence different cultures of
the world with education on chiropractic and personal growth. She
has recently returned from Greenland, Denmark and Sweden to
initiate this venture.
Dr. Jourdan is also a runner with the ultimate goal of
completing the Chicago Marathon in October 2012.
