Dr. Steven Mark Horwitz ’86 continues to learn and grow, professionally and personally. He has authored a book on fitness, traveled internationally with the U.S. Track & Field teams, and was selected by the U.S. Olympic Committee to act as the sole chiropractor for the 1996 U.S. Olympic Team. He is the chairman of the U.S. Track & Field Potomac Valley Sports Medicine Committee and has served as team chiropractor for George Mason University, worked with athletes from Georgetown University and University of Maryland, and provided care for dance and theater groups like The Rockettes, Dance Theatre of Harlem, Crazy for You, and Chicago.

Also an avid athlete, Dr. Horwitz studies martial arts, has run marathons, and competes in bodybuilding and power lifting championships. He has offices in both Silver Spring and Rockville, Maryland, and focuses on sports injury care and prevention, rehabilitative exercise, and sports performance training.
