National is now part of the University Partnership Center of St. Petersburg College (SPC). This innovative campus-sharing program allows NUHS to offer its Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) degree on site at the St. Petersburg college campus.

When you earn your DC degree from National University of Health Sciences St. Petersburg Campus, you'll experience the same DC curriculum that is taught at National's Lombard, Illinois campus.  You will also benefit from National's commitment to excellence in primary care chiropractic medicine.

We prepare you to become a first contact physician with a strong foundation in basic sciences, including hands on full dissection experience in modern gross anatomy laboratory facilities.

We follow up with classes that integrate problem solving strategies while you learn comprehensive medical diagnostic skills. You'll have hours of hands-on practice of the best clinically proven adjustment and manipulation techniques, in addition to a full range of conservative care modalities such as nutrition, lifestyle counseling, rehabilitation, botanical medicine and more.

Dynamic Faculty and Top-Notch Facilities at NUHS-St. Pete

Our St. Petersburg faculty boasts the same top-quality instructors you'd expect from an NUHS program, including shared faculty experts with the highest academic credentials in science and health care. In addition, you will benefit from well-equipped and modern laboratories, classrooms with state-of-the-art technology and all the resources and amenities of SPC's campus locations in Pinellas County. NUHS joins 16 other university partners offering degree programs at SPC, many focusing on health care professions.

Clinical Experience

As a Florida DC student, you will be able to complete your clinical internship either in the NUHS clinic planned for the St. Petersburg area, or through preceptorships with pre-qualified local physicians. In addition, as a NUHS-St. Pete DC student, you may apply for any of our hospital-based clerkships in other states or any of our Illinois-based clinic internship programs.

As a chiropractic physician, you'll need to know how to start and manage a private practice. That's why part of your professional training will include National's business program. We prepare you for all of the many challenges you'll face as a health care professional.
