What to Expect
Your first visit to a NUHS Whole Health Center will be similar to a visit with any other family doctor.
- At our Lombard Center, you will have a choice whether you'd like a chiropractic, naturopathic or oriental medical clinician to initially manage your care. At our other Centers, a primary care chiropractic physician will be your clinician.
- You will meet your clinician, and an intern will take your full medical history.
- Your intern and clinician will discuss any particular problems, conditions or concerns with you before beginning any treatment.
- You are always an integral part of your treatment plan, and your questions and participation are welcome.
- You may receive an initial treatment on your first visit or additional tests may be scheduled.
New patients are always welcome at all of our clinics. Your appointment will be scheduled within 24 hours of your first call. If your situation is an emergency, you will be seen the same day you call. Our courteous staff will help you fill out your paper work and file insurance claims to make your visit with us as convenient as possible.
