Organizational Scholarships
The scholarships listed below are available to students who are
members of certain organizations. If you have questions about
any of the scholarships listed or your eligibility for a particular
scholarship program, contact the Office of Financial Aid.
Community Services Block Grant (CDBG)
Scholarship
- Deadline: Early May
- Award: Varies
- Application: Available Online (also available in

- Criteria
- Resident of DuPage County
- Enrolled in an Illinois accredited higher education
program
- Minimum 2.5 GPA
- Meet CSBG low-income requirements

Mayway Scholarship Program
- Deadline: May 15
- Award: 1 award of $2,000 and 3 awards of $1,500

- Criteria:
- Enrolled in accredited Oriental Medicine program who will be
attending an OM college in the fall trimester
- Master's level students should have completed a Chinese herbs
class
- Minimum 3.25 GPA
- Complete essay on specific topic
- Submit completed applications to the Financial Aid Office by
May 15; awards announced in August.
nuherbs Co. Scholarship Program
- Deadline: April 1 annually
- Awards:
- nuherbs Scholarship - $2,000
- Herbal Times Scholarship - $1,500
- Jade Dragon Scholarship - $1,000
- Application: Available Online
- Criteria
- Enrolled in an ACAOM accredited school
- Currently a student with minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
- Must be enrolled in AC or OM program in upcoming Fall
trimester
- Submit application and essay meeting the current year criteria

USA Funds Access to Education Scholarships
- Deadline: February 15
- Award: $1,500 per recipient
- Application: Available online
- Criteria:
- Enrolled at least 3/4 time in graduate or undergraduate
program
- Income of $25,000 or less
- Eligible U.S. citizen or eligible non-citizen
- 50% of awards will be made to members of ethnic minority groups
and/or documented physical disability
