Inclement Weather Closing - Snow Schedule

Lombard Campus

When weather conditions warrant it, the University and its public clinics may implement a snow schedule instead of closing. A snow schedule is actually the daily schedule but with shortened classes (45 min/period) delayed by an hour or more.

The University notifies the Emergency Closing Center about delays or closings. In addition to radio and TV broadcasts, you can check the ECC website at www.emergencyclosingcenter.com or call the ECC hotline at 847-238-1234. Students, faculty, and staff will also receive phone, email and SMS alerts if they have opted-in to the campus alert system. A notice will also be posted on the homepage of the NUHS website.
