Instructor, Basic Sciences
Dr. Machini was born and raised in a suburb of Saint Petersburg, Russia, and earned a Doctor of Medicine degree in 1997 from Saint Petersburg State Pediatric Medical Academy, with a specialization in pediatrics. After completing post-graduate training in pediatrics, she worked at the Consultative-Diagnostic Center (out-patient department) of The Children's Hospital of the Saint Petersburg Pediatric Academy as a pediatrician.
In 1999, Dr. Machini completed training in radiology at Saint Petersburg Medical Academy of Postgraduate Studies and also worked as a radiologist.
In 2002, she relocated to the United States and has been an adjunct instructor in anatomy and physiology courses at various colleges and universities in Michigan and Florida, including NOVA Southeastern University Physician Assistant Program, Edison State College and Florida Gulf Coast University.
In December 2009, Dr. Machini joined National University of Health Sciences as an instructor of basic sciences at its Florida location.
